What happened to Karpets

I looked for Vladimir in the start list for the Giro and could not find his name. He's ridden well in many past tours. Anyone know who he is riding for these days?

It was Kurtains for him really once he left Banesto.

I remember him doing a fantastic job at the Vuelta 2011 in service of Moreno and Purito. I really admired him back then. A super strong domestique instead of riding for a 13th place in a GT.
