Funny how people remember Pantani attacking in that stage but forget it was actually Escartín and Kelme doing all the work, with Serrano (I think) pulling hard between the climbs and Pantani destroying everyone in the last climb.

2003 all the way...

Never saw Lance suffer as much, Ullrich had great form that year...

Lance showing weakness on the slopes of L'Alpe d'Huez... suffering attack after attack with Mayo winning the stage...

The drama at stage 9: Vino flexing some muscle, Beloki biting the concrete, Lance taking a "shortcut". Epic battle!

Ullrich dominating stage 12, Armstrong riding so hard he was foaming at the mouth...

Stage 15, Armstrong crashes, but recovers to win, putting 40 second on Ullrich and the presure to attack in the last TT...

stage 20: last ITT, Ullrich giving his all, but so is Lance. Ullrich cutting Armstrong lead by 16 second then crashes, his chances of winning over, Lance coming in comfortable 3rd winning his 5th TDF on the 100 year anniversary of the Tour...

Got glued to cycling ever since:cool:
