He can make the race hard on those parts in between after the climbs. The Oude Kruisberg/Hotond section is way harder than it seems on television. I expect him there already, just to get with a smaller group to 2nd Kwaremont and Paterberg. If he's in position on Berg ten Houte, he can even go there. That's with 75km to go. They could be gone with 4-5 riders for the final.

Its great news that Remco is racing RVV, its the monument of his home region and I think it might become a big target for the future.

I voted top5 but really just hope that he doesn't crash out of the race.

Well done Remco..... a very good result. How can he win a one day race with Pog???
Essentially he has to look for one day races that he doesn't do.

Absolutely no shame in today's game, Remco came to race, constant contributor and regardless of minor miscalculations, the guy never, ever gave up. I really hope today could be the learning experience he needs to make it to the next level. With very little mental and physical specialty preparation, he raced great. Did his pause from social media noise help? Would appear it did. And his brain and race processing obviously works way better when he is going one day at a time instead of various stage race lengths and he is always near crumbling when races are 3 weeks. Even when the guy was killing himself, his head and upper body had him in control, no body bouncing or bobble head because he was too tired to hold it up. Truly impressive.

He did slightly better than i expected, solid performance and clearly the 3rd strongest in the race. He must come back now, and hope for Pogi to stop coming here maybe in 1 or 2 years. Should be clear by now that he will lose every race Pogi is in.
