What would this Tour have been without the two V's

...Voeckler and Vinokourov.

These to riders provided at least 3 quarters of my excitement in this Tour. Without them, it would've been a very very bland affair.

Celebrate these two magnificent riders, one of them with 2 stage wins and the polka-dot jersey and the other because he is Vino and because he was in the break every day this last week of riding.

It would have been almost the same.

I'm not a Vino or Voeckler fan, I don't really have any strong feelings about them in fact so the tour would have been the same for my entertainment really.

At least it was some excitement. Well, those two and Sagan. I like their devil-may-care attitude that's so lacking in the team sky corporate machine. People want their sports stars to do heroic things, even impossible things. Sky is none of that. And that's why this win is so dull.

Poor Bradley couldn't even bother to attack the final mountain stage. At least Armstrong would attack in the final kms. Bradley's got no balls.

I've become a much bigger Voeckler fan after seeing him ride this Tour. I've always appreciated his guts, but I appreciate his tenacity even more now. 2 stage wins and the polka dot jersey is awesome.

People will complain about Team Sky's dominance making the race boring, but there have been a number of guys who've ridden without fear, and they've made the race more interesting. Voeckler, Nibali, VDB and Pinot, for example. I just wish there had been more guys like that in the race.

Vino is a hero. Gonna miss him so much. One of the few highlights in this Tour. Hope he wins sunday in Paris once again - i dont think so though. :p

Im not much of a Voeckler fan though. He is just to much imo. But i must admit he is a good rider.

Voeckler has been really strong, Vino provided some spells of entertainment but frankly he mostly showed that it's time to retire. Another, even older, V has been much more impressive: Jens Voigt.

Time to retire? He's 40, he broke his hip last year and he was in the break every day for the last week, often being with the best (4th out of 28 for example in one stage).

He's showing he's still up there, not that he needs to retire.

Voigt can be mentioned too in this topic, by my allowance. He's the only Shack rider I noticed this Tour.

Who is this Shack team that you speak of? They're in the Tour? Do tell!

Seriously though...Bruyneel, Fuglsang, the Schlecks...strange that for the last two weeks, all the RSNT headlines have been about guys who aren't currently at the Tour. That says alot about RSNT in this race, I guess.

Well Klöden not looking at Zubeldia was a classic moment, for that alone they deserved their invite :D

I won't lie, I cracked up at that. And I love hearing Phil and Paul try to explain such awkwardness...
