Hmmm... Trek Madone 6.9 Pro Red... actually, not a dream bike, I just own it.. Be nice to have a set of Zipps on it though... Or electronic Red, if its ever due to exist? Would also love to get a Project one Paintjob...

like the look of the Time RXR Ulteam... With Electronic Campag and some red and white coloured wheels...

BMC PRO MACHINE/Campy record

Light, responsive and comfy for beau coup k's. I have 4 other bikes and this one makes me happy. As light as it is (15.5 lbs), it's stiff where I want it and yet comfy enough for 250k rides. The Swiss (and Easton) got this thing right. There are probably better crit bikes (I don't do them) but I can't imagine a better road bike...at least not if you wanna ride 2 days in a row.

I have got a 585 with DuraAce 7800 (pretty stock build, couple of years old) and that was my dream when I got it, and it is still up there, I would love to add some Lightweights, very sexy wheels

But something in custom steel (or Ti) and a little retro would still turn me on, orginal Super Record, that sort of thing

....or the Prince

I'll stick to the race bikes. . . .
Road: S-Works Tarmac SL2 with Specialized cranks/BB, Red derailleurs & shifters, DA cassette, Corima tubeless wheels.

XC Mountain: S-Works Epic (only full sus bike to win UCI XC WC! yeah, Susi!), dialed in the way Sauser had his set up. SICK! It weighed less than 20 pounds! I have the same frame/ / fork / cranks / shifters / wheels that he runs, but need he other bits. (and a full time mechanic if I'm running stuff like alloy rotors. . . ) The Flow Control Brains in the fork and rear shock are unreal! firm on the smooth, active in the rough. So good!

nice dream ride! I'd like that too, but my heart goes to the Rabobank team issue Giant TCR SL with DA and a nice set of open pro rims laced to 32 hole dura ace hubs.

That one. Time bikes just ride like no other. The only thing I'd consider changing is the wheelset for something with a lower profile.

EDIT: Ambrosio Nemesis w/ Record hubs--that's what I was looking for! Should have glanced through the thread before posting...

I don't know what kind of sex you're having, but mine has always been better than any bike rides I've taken.

I'm more of a WordPerfect fan:

The funny thing is that I used the phrase "almost as good as" instead of "better than" to avoid any confusion of using a common figure of speech. I get it though, everybody's always gotta be a comedian.

Too bad you ruined a perfectly good Colnago with those parts. ;)

Since I wrote that, I stripped my frame ('98 Master) to get ready for a repaint.. It's coming back in about a month as a Master Olympic/Fabio Casartelli tribute bike. Next year I plan on taking it to the monument on the Col de Portet d'Aspet where he died, and to the Madonna del Ghisallo where his bike is on display at the chapel. Proper.

...or a custom jeff jones 29er single speed with hadley hubs that could be cool too.

+1. What can I say...it just sounds a beaut :D

I'm building up a Vassago steel SS w/ Hope II hubs right now...can hardly contain myself

As for road...I got a Specialized Elite compact 4 yrs ago and for the first time I don't hurt on longer stuff...so, I'd say my dream would be a fully spec'd S-Works Roubaix...boring probably, but stick to what I know works :)
