I would like to know how you folks maintain your rims. How often do you clean them? do you deassemble the hub, or you simply maintain them by not hammering them on the road? any advice will be highly appreciated

I have a set of Campy Proton wheels which have shallow rims. I hammer the sh*t out of my bike as that is the reason I bought it. I ride a lot and do not clean my bike after every single ride as I do not have time. Basically either rinse my bike down with just water or use simple green when I do. Just wipe off my rims with a rag or use a towel when drying it. Have never disassembled anything on wheels except tires and tubes ;) Have had no problems.

What type of wheels/rims do you have?
