When did Georgie testify?

Certain people may have been called to testify, but from memory, I dont recall that Hincapie has shown as of yet. There was talk concerning his use of a lawyer at the time that he was named in conjunction with the GJ. I think the same goes for Hamilton as well. I guess the point is "called" versus deposed, and lastly as appearing in front of the GJ to this stage of the proceedings.

If I remember back to 3rd grade, I think "Grand Jury" is the subject of the sentence. "called to" refers to that subject. The sentence is written in such a manner as to say that all three of these gents were called to testify in front of a Grand Jury.

God I admire you... Your mastery of wit and the English language is an intoxicating combination. If you only had a panache for conspiracy theories or making rash judgments on limited information, you'd be perfect.

So quick to get defensive. I wasn't pointing out your use of specific words, I was pointing out that I think the overall reporting was not using the proper terminology. Being a Paralegal, there is a significant difference between, being called, being deposed, and actually appearing. Sorry for stating the obvious. I still have not seen any press pertaining to Hincapie or Hamilton. With others appearing, we had heard quick responses from lawyers and others saying what had supposedly transpired. Just that a lawyer is going to release that, irritates me as the proceedings are supposed to be sealed, and comment kept under wraps. I think it would be significant to show reporting of these people actually being deposed, I am sure the list of those deposed is far larger than those actually appearing, it is supposed to be.
The story that is told in just the difference in those being deposed, and those appearing paints a specific picture in how strong a case is.

Sorry, but I didn't get the part I auditioned for on L.A. Law, so I can't claim to know much about the legal side of grand jury proceedings...my question is: Is the public meant to be aware of the identities of those called/deposed before a grand jury?

I'm not a lawyer, but I play one on the internet....

If I remember correctly, Hincapie's lawyer acknowledged that the Feds had contacted him, but that he would not make any further comments. It could be that he testified and we never heard a blab about it. He has a lot to lose, so he will likely play by the rules (but who's rules?).

I'm not a specialist on LA law, but common sense leads me to think that they aren't meant to be aware on who was called/deposed

Appeared in late July. Also told the truth but stated that doping was the norm in those days. Kill or be killed. Spoke how salary was paid and how the doping was funded.

Shocking. Next you'll tell us that Tugboat was complicit in it all.

Hog, as usual you're asked for sources or documentation or just something to back up your posts...

I like that you add meat to the bones, but can you in any way confirm you've got proper meat and not just some Spanish stuff from Pau?

And how would you possibly know this?

This is a weird post. It nearly seems like the word "I" was removed from each statement. Maybe its just the sleep in my eyes doing that to me...
