He? The sponsors? Or the UCI?
Anyway, yeah, they definitely saved #100 for the TdF.

But once #100 is deemed to happen at the TdF, I don't think they care that much for it to be on an iconic climb.

I mean, what he is going to do?
Not win the ITT (even though Remco and others a way bigger favorites, there) or a hilly stage, only because they wouldn't be as iconic as it would be winning #100 on, let's say, Mont Ventoux?
I think he would probably like to win number 100 in the rainbow stripes before he gets the yellow jersey although either would be an iconic shot.

The problem is ime the moment you start mucking around with oh this would be the best stage to win stuff for the media exposure etc etc etc, the race kicks you back hard, you can't plan this stuff, you have to go with the moment when it happens naturally, (see Cav). We all know he'll win #100, so it really doesn't matter when it happens because not all 99 other wins were necessarily that epic anyway

I think not winning the last stage Dauphine for marketing reasons was fine, but he definitely will not avoid winning a stage during the first week just so he can get #100 on an iconic climb. Any win at the Tour will do, and he'll probably do it to Boulogne-sur-mer

Is he doing the Nationals? He could get it there...

Though, I suppose it might seem like a waste of time to travel to Slovenia to try to win a jersey he'll not be able to wear anyway...

I assume Urška Žigart will be there so they can celebrate #100 together.

Don't think there's any mention at all of him possibly riding the Nationals. Don't even think it was in the initial plans in December. All he's been saying in the interviews is that he is going to altitude at Isola before coming down some days before the Tour.

I expect him to win stage 6.
14 July. I think a Frenchman in the break will win.

It's a difficult stage to control, and it's not a clear victory.
In fact, that stage is designed so that a Frenchman can win in the break and the big teams don't think about controlling it.

I think the first victory will be at Hautacam.

14 July is not Stage 6, it‘s Stage 10
