Has anyone from Great Britain been riding the Hope/Lotus bike at the Berlin world championship? Where did they ride it in competition to meet UCI criteria? Any word from the team why they aren't using it?

The new Aussie bikes didn't help them much.
It definitely didn't. The Danish team looked dominant on the older Argon 18 Electron Pro. Charitably, maybe they need more time to get used to it?
And I'm wondering if the GB bike is crap or so good they don't want to reveal it's full potential before Tokyo. They were allocated 14 out of 15 possible spots in Tokyo, so there's not a tonne to gain.

The Brits might have to beg the likes of Owain Doull to come back for the TP at Olympics.

With the men the Danes and Kiwis played all their cards at worlds which is fine for Denmark as they don't have to improve much but Italy looked very good after having illness before the worlds and came good that last brilliant ride. The Aussies will surely get their act together after losing their top man Kelland O'Brien with a broken collar bone for worlds and GB always come right some how and France put in a ripper qualifying ride and will take a lot from that.

I think Denmark to win from Italy and Australia and then either GB or France. Kiwis 5th or 6th. They played their full deck of cards.
