I wish Tour of California, Utah, Colorado, Georgia, and Missouri came back. Or if America did a separate west and east coast Tour. But there’s no demand for it. Though funny to run into find thread since I was looking for the UAE one but in Nevada I just passed a group of about 6 amateur riders all wearing UAE jerseys and riding Colnago. So maybe UAE can help finance the races.
Utah was almost universally loved on this forum and I actually miss the race.

What about the Tour de Trump?

The last winner is apparently still semi-active.

Gylne Gutuer is sadly no longer a UCI race. I would like to see a stronger field ride on those roads someday.

I can't remember ever hearing about this race, but purely due to its name, I'd like The Paths of King Nikola to return to the calendar and for it to be held just before or after In the footsteps of the Romans.

I was going to say Paris–Brest–Paris, a race of 1200 km!

However I just found out it's still held for amateurs once every four years. Nicolas De Haan (USA) won it in 2023 in a record time of 41h 46'.

It would be a challenge for the live commentators as well.

There was an enjoyable GCN documentary about it: don't know where those docu's have ended up.

Milano-Torino technically still exists but they have destroyed it so I would like to revive the Contador era parcours of the race.

Criterium International was an excellent race and selfishly would love the Tour de Yorkshire back as it’s very local to me and always got great crowds and some good racing.

:sob:

Because it was a bad race?

I never watched the race when it was held, but I think Danmark Rundt should return to the city before too long. I might vote for someone who promises that in the upcoming election.

... but the Waalse Pijl had apparently been discontinued
The Welsh Arrow, translating to English rather than the more normal French.

Wales could do with an extra race.

Waalse and Welsh are basically the same word, though applied to different groups of non-Germanic foreigners. It's interesting where "that sounds like" and a bit of wondering can lead.
