For it not to be a bunch sprint nowadays something has to happen before the Poggio with enough commitment to put the sprinters out of contention, no team seems really committed to that sort of plan, maybe BMC, or maybe an unexpected early break sticking. This one is 90% sprint.

With 3K to go, Oscarito will turn off his cloaking device and emerge as part of an elite 7 man selection! Oscarito will time his sprint perfectly, and win by a bike length, going away! Oscarito!
Sure hope I don't get up at 6 to watch Cavendish win.![]()

After seeing the weather forecast, I think Cavendish will get the victory.

Like most other people, I was impressed by Sagan and Nibali at T-A, but in most plausible M-SR scenarios both have significant negatives against them.
PCutter said:Goss. He hadn't won anything pre worlds and got the silver, so not concerned about his lack of wins this year, and the tougher course (compared to the Worlds) brings Cav back a little bit....about the width of a wheel is all he needs.
