Well hopefully its all true. :) I would love to see Tinkov continue their success.

Roman Kreuziger was in training camp at Passo Tonale with the rest of the team during Tour de France, so he has indeed been training since:

Roman Kreuziger @Roman86_K · Jul 21
Rest day for us at #PassoDelTonale with @tinkoff_saxo boys...☔️☔️☔️Let´s go to section of #coretraining #stretching to recover a little bit

If Kreuziger shows up in a 2013 tour beast form,he can podium this.
I dont know why Rigo shoud be a favourite, there arent long tt's and he is not as good climber as Froome,Quintana,Rodriguez

Neither had Horner before last year.

Horner finished Top 10 on the Tourmalet stage in the 2010 TDF. As a reminder of his company:
1 SCHLECK Andy
2 CONTADOR Alberto
3 RODRIGUEZ OLIVER Joaquin
4 HESJEDAL Ryder
5 SANCHEZ Samuel
6 MENCHOV Denis
7 GESINK Robert
8 HORNER Christopher
9 VAN DEN BROECK Jurgen
10 KREUZIGER Roman

Kreuziger definitely can top 3 this.

I don't see how uran can win this. I don't respect him enough as a climber, especially against this field.

i see him as a man of endurance, the angel aru,so probably not great especially the first two weeks.
first let's see how will he cope with spain, if he has form for this

He seems to do best on the single mountain stages (mtt and his stage win in the giro, while being less good on the multiple mountain stages), and he is pretty explosive. Doubt he will be able to follow a JRod on the short hills, but not worse than Froomester, and probably better than Quintana

Well, you have to put him up there anyway. he has been second twice in the Giro and you just saw what happened in the Tour.;)

Just like other contenders that have no chance either. Even less than Uran.

Quintana will win and it will go down as a year where one rider could easily have won the three GT's in one year where it not for Valverde being a spoilt brat and demanding to be team leader for the Tour

If Valverde had not been given leadership for Le Tour, Quintana wouldn't have won the Giro, because he would have not gone there in the first place. Valverde did not demand to be team leader, also, for the record.

Quintana has his chances, obviously, but it's not going to be a walk in the park.

Are you suggesting he should go for the treble next year..?

I hope he doesn't as i think this would be burning his light in both ends...

Who was the last Vuelta winner who had peaked for another GT in the same year? Contador '08 and Nibali '10 weren't originally meant to ride the Giro. Menchov '07 was far from peak shape in that Tour.

Jalabert 1995.

Realistically, I mean recently, none. The last one was probably Jalabert in '95.

edit: Ice beat me to it.

Aitor Gonzalez in 2002? Well, he wasn't a surely team leader in the Giro (and the first week) /Vuelta

aye. Peaking for tour 06, but sadly couldn't start because of some minor details. Destroyed the Vuelta later

Let's then say he didn't actually peak but intended to do it. Just like Basso :p

Dan Martin for a top 5 finish.

That would be amazing. He has a great team to back him.

Lol what? Some people really try their best to vilify Valverde. He asked for leadership, he was given it due to his status within the team - one last chance to aim at a Tour podium finish. He didn't demand it. ;)

Sorry for going off topic.
