I can see how people think this...unless they saw:

His win at Catalunya:

His win at Burgos:

His win at TDF (no link needed, you all know that one).

All accelerations at the end

What does 2 examples have in common is that OTHERS attack or up the pace very high and go full gas and Quintana is able to add something extra. this year.. It s more a very good) counterattack. Anyway the quintana of last giro( and the rest of didnt had that kind of acceleration).

Quintana needs one who ups the pace for him . He is of course more explosive then Basso or Mancebo but compared with contador or froome he is not on their level in that departement. That Crazy acceleration from froome in het first Dauphine 14 MTF....I dont think Quintana would be able to hold the wheel.

He doesn't need to. Look at Ventoux and Alpe d’Huez in tour 2013. After Froome attack he hid not hold the wheel immediately but was just able to follow but just upping the tempo. That's what he does. He is very light and by just going very fast is enough to kill everybody.

Don't think it will be enough to negate what could be losses of 2.30-3.00min the TT's.

That's too much, he'll take time on Froome in the TTT and lose just about that amount of time in the final TT. In the 2nd week TT gap will be about 2 minutes imo.

Froome.

Quintana has already had a great season, Froome needs to save his season and SKY's season. Interesting how putting all your eggs in the TdF basket can backfire. The genius didn't know the old say? So now SKY needs to win. And SKY will stop at nothing to win it ;). Too much at stake. And still no Wiggins, just in case? All the eggs in Froome's basket...

In football a player is recovering after 8 months for such an injury.Phinney broke his tibia and his fibula in Cali and is still recovering.

It was more in terms if the information is correct, not about the injury. For sure Pozzo's season is over, it's a horrible injury.
