Why a pro team tt and not a national team tt?

I don't like the idea of using national teams for the Worlds TTT, but they should however consider a longer distance. I liked the idea of only 4 riders for 100 kilometers.

And the jersey: yes, OPQS's little logo on their left chest was pathetic. No one noticed it. And even though they won it two times they are not allowed anything next year.

If my memory is correct that was the TTT format for the 1984 Olympics, That race used the 91 freeway in the greater Los Angeles area.
