I used to backpack. You see a girl on the trail when you haven't seen any female in 2 days, she could be a girl you'd never give a second look to in a bar, suddenly she is more than acceptable. Our tribe suffers from a disproportionate amount of males. It's like Alaska. Female tribe members are highly valued.
