My viewing suggests it will be 2028 before we see the real potential of Widar. Let him build up his endurance and then he can use his vicious kick in uphill finishes.

I have no problem with these arguments btw. I also think his build doesn't really help him and am not a fan of him staying another year at u23 level or at least do that little amount of pro races, but I don't think that will hinder him in the long term, just this year cause he wouldve developped faster doing more pro races. Perfectly fine opinion, but at the end of the day we really can't know what his ceiling is and I wouldn't say you can't get many good results, just maybe not GT GC material, and that's fine.

But you can say these things without pretending like a bit of hype given his result isn't normal or call him a glorified Ben Hermans or compare him to Stevie Williams. Just sounds like trolling to me, and again, this topic really does need not have to turn into another Remco topic where it's just "discussions" (for lack of a better word, cause they aren't real discussions) between haters and fans
I don't care if he is belgian or not, that's not my war, sorry.

And yes, he still has huge acceleration and i stand by my words with calling him future F-W winner.

But there is always a point where young talent become overhyped unless he is deserving this hype like Del Toro.

Remco became overhyped too at one point.

And i don't think Widar is deserving it now. It's not trolling, it's the opinion.
