Adam Hansen has raced the Giro, Tour and now at the Vuelta, will he finish the 3rd GT of this year? Joining the ranks of 3 GT's in a year finishers?

Didn't he have a fairly bad accident a couple of weeks before the Giro? I have to think any rider who completes three grand tours is absolutely incredible, whether they win them all or are the lantern rouge in all of them.

He crashed out in the Tour of Turkey before the Giro, don't know what he injured or how bad.

Sure. He is the Croc Man.
Yep, finishing 3 GT's in a year probably isn't much harder than back to back Croc Trophy wins (OK, maybe not :D). Hansen is a genuine hard nut. Good bloke too.

Hopefully he does, so the streak going from 2005 of at least one rider finishing all three GTs won't stop.

So he has finished 7 Grand tours in a row, I can't think of anyone else who finished all three this year.

Btw, does he have the record on this now?

I can't recall any other riders who have finished so many. Sastre once did five in a row, anyone know anyone else?

Edit: Marino Lejaretta. 10 GTs in a row. During the time when the Vuelta was in spring. Crazy.

Will He do it AGAIN!

Another Grand Tour is here, and I thought that it was time to revive this thread. Will Adam Hanson, be able to complete all three grand tours again this year? My guess is yes, and hopefully along the way he will win a stage in one of them.
What does everyone think?

Yes, yes he will. And he will solo to glorious wins in the hardest and harshest stage weather-wise stage in each one of them.

He (Lejaretta) also finished all three in 1987, for a record total of 4 triples. Go Adam!

Hansen has actually confirmed in an interview with Cyclingtips that he has a free role in the Giro this year, so hopefully he can steal another stage there :D

He said that he'll be working for VDB in the Tour and Greipel in the Vuelta though :(

Well he has to stay busy otherwise he'll be bored to death considering how the GT's are ridden these days :p
Go Hansen!
