Does anyone know for sure if the new Dura Ace 9000 11 speed cassette fit onto a 7900 10-speed freehub?

It will not. But most third-party wheels that have campy cassette bodies as options should be able to handle a new shimano 11-speed body if the manufacturer makes one.

Will not. Requires a taller FH body, why it WILL fit onto Mavic wheels(FTS-L) FH body. I have 'heard' that the 11s will accept 8/9/10s cogsets tho-just need a spacer.

9000 will be unique with nothing backward compatible, except the hubs/wheels.

Worse than I thought.Maybe a lot of work for wheelbuilders.

Already had a guy try to order a set of wheels with 9000 hubs...even tho they won't be out for some months. Probably be nice hubs, like their others. Gonna be pricey tho, as are DA now(7900).
