The higher subs pay for the other content on the channel, not the cycling currently:)

And that's the problem.
We have to first pay for... dunno... then pay more to get access to the sport package.

But of course, we'll probably never get anything as perfect as GCN+...

So now on the HBO Max app. Except you can only get TNT Sports on the app, which is fine for all on this cycling forum.

However If you want to watch other shows on HBO you have to pay extra, despite you having the HBO Max app for the most expensive thing. I was looking forward to watching Succession, Curb, Veep, Band of Brothers etc.

Like what is the point in anything, not that i watched the other stuff on discovery but once again paying for less.
You can't make it up.

No you have the HBO Max app and you paid to stream sports on it just as you had the Discovery+ app & paid to watch sports and it didnt come with Game of Thrones for free either.

If you want your HBO Max entertainment pay the 4.99 extra per month, or get a Sky subscription as its bundled in now.

the discovery+ app came with all entertainment channels...the HBO max app doesn't.

no the Discovery+app never gave you access to HBO Max content for just the sports subs, unless you paid extra for it, you got alot of Discovery/NatGeo documentaries, but you never got Game of Thrones/Sopranos style content as an example. theyre not that daft to not exploit the subscriber

I didn't say it did? I got all the discovery content on the discovery app while paying £30 odd. I don't get all the HBO Max content on the HBO Max app despite paying the same price....

I also can't get the sports documentaries despite paying for TNT Sports, (some of which are made by TNT!), when I could before with discovery.

Sounds like "infomercials" for various teams starting today -
https://www.cyclingweekly.com/racing/tnt-sports-and-hbo-max-to-air-new-weekly-cycling-show
TNT Sports and HBO Max will broadcast a new weekly programme called The Cycling Show starting this Tuesday evening.

The show, limited to 10 half-hour episodes, promises to go behind the scenes of men’s and women’s professional cycling teams, with insights into performance, nutrition and equipment from staff and rider interviews.

The first episode will be aired on TNT Sports and online on HBO Max on Tuesday 31 March at 19:30 UK time. It will cover the UCI ProTeam Tudor Pro Cycling, founded in 2022 by Fabian Cancellara, the three-time winner of both the Tour of Flanders and Paris-Roubaix. ...
The Cycling Show is different to The Ultimate Cycling Show, a magazine show produced and broadcast last year by Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD), the parent company of TNT Sports, HBO Max and Eurosport.

While The Ultimate Cycling Show counted Orla Chennaoui and Adam Blythe as hosts, and was shown free-to-air on Quest, The Cycling Show will be presented by an off-screen voiceover, and is exclusive to WBD’s paywalled channels in the UK and Ireland: TNT Sports and HBO Max. It will be available in Europe on Eurosport.
