Winter training in Tenerife

Hello all,

Finally finding some form on the bike this year, rather frustratingly with darkness and winter approaching the UK. i'm considering for the first time a trip abroad with my bike in November-ish time.

If anyone has any advice as to any hotels, routes, etc for the Island of Tenerife, or if there are other European islands that may be a better choice I'd be very grateful.

Sicily-Palermo or Catania..great riding along the coast.

Mallorca is very popular, loads of roads, locals are used to cyclists, plenty of places to hire bikes etc. You don't get the height you do on Tenerife though. Temperature should be fine but obviously a bit more variable than Tenerife.
