It was the only part I looked for. Quality was *** and took way too long to loadThat part did, the rest of it looked flatter than I was expecting.

He is confident for the ITT. He didn't say anything about the RR. And he won the Dauphine and the Tour TT too yes. Apparently he was not that happy with his tour performance but he is happy with his numbers now so I assume he is close to his best level. So he knows that, without technical issues, he will be difficult to beat. I assume it is totally different with the RR. If Pog is in top shape, he knows he will be difficult to beat too. What I mean is, we heard the same from Remco before the Dauphine and the Tour, not the same tune afterwards. Legitimate reasons or not, he was very bullish before he got a serious reality check then too.
Of course, no excuses either way, results speak for themselves. Part of me wants Remco to win even, good for Poggo to have some targets left and not crush everyone left and right but thats not what I think will happen.
Oh yeah and breathingAt these average speeds, the altitude will make them faster rather than slower, as it has a greater effect on aerodynamic resistance than power output.
Or centerfugal force which is the force that turns sugar into fluffy cotton candy! I know there are real favorites but with race elevation, travel and elevation gain during the race I feel like we could get surprised.. Situations like Canada happen and the hands down favorite gets his as- handed to him.. Just a little too much folklore about Pogacar never losing a race ever, always first.. The record shows he does lose..and Remco has been sent home with his tail between his legs multiple times this year.. Not saying Kung level of surprise but maybe a surprise.. Just my hope doing the typingCalm down guys, let's be objective for a change:
If Pogi wins it's because he's the GOAT.
If Remco wins it's because there's no gravity at the equator.
So you like the course?
It's a course I like: wide, mostly straight, not technical, lots of positioning. There will also be a lot of changes of pace because it's constantly going up and down - which doesn't make it any easier - but I do like that kind of thing.
What will be crucial?
Certainly not pushing yourself too hard in the first part. The toughest climbs are at the end, where you need to be able to go all out two more times. The last ten minutes will be very intense.
And the cobblestones?
That's going to hurt one last time, especially because that climb is right at the end, but it won't make a big difference.
Will your aerodynamics be of any use here?
I think so. It's often uphill, but this isn't a mountain stage, you know. These are hills, like in the Ardennes or the Amstel Gold Race. Efforts of four to five minutes. It's still a fast course. It's not super steep, and the air is a bit thinner: that still keeps the speed high.
When we climb, it's in a time trial position, and the downhill sections are mainly straight ahead, so you maintain your position there as well: I should take advantage of that.
If it were 70-80 kms it could be called 80s properGood to have a proper TT course for a change.
Behind Del Toro?…as at RR they will race for second anyway.
Glad that everyone could register how dead serious I was and no one got triggered.Yes, this is a very neutral take.
No chance.Bit of a shame Vingegaard isn't here, this TT would probably have been his single best chance of getting a WC medal in his career.
Pogacar looks like a modern climber. Remco looks a track sprinterPogacar is very thin in comparison
Behind Del Toro?
Cannonballs roll forever at the equator. GOATS can only look on with envyCalm down guys, let's be objective for a change:

That's very kind of youI was thinking this is a harder ITT in terms of climbing, hence Pogi was a natural choice. Now i feel it's not that hard in that regard and i will give it 50:50 in between Pogi and Remco and let the boys sort it out on the road. They should have some fun here as at RR they will race for second anyway.
Glad that everyone could register how dead serious I was and no one got triggered.

Maybe he’s saying that he is the clown? Was the clown emoji really necessary?
I find the clown emoji the single most irritating thing on this forum. Was the clown emoji really necessary?
