Remco had said in a Belgian interview ,that if he has a good day it doesn't matter what Poggie does. Wasn't joking it seems. Unless super wrong pacing which is not likely to TTer of Remcos caliber.

perhaps what we missed all season -- damn winter crash
He wouldn't have won the Tour or Liège no matter how much you insist. Remco has always been better in these world championships than in the mountains. You can't extrapolate this to other races.

When Remco doesn't win, it's an injury, and when Remco dominates, it's because he's good. When others beat him, it's cause for a clinic or to post photos of cyclists who've tested positive, like in Montreal thread.
