90km and 45 seconds... That really ain't too much when you are with 20plus group vs 2... But well we all know most of them will ride as solo riders hoping for 3rd.

It's a pity really... I see this is the main reason why most long distance attacks succeed. If only many cyclists would consider other strategies then "if I loose you also loose". Instead of: "let's work together and maybe one of us wins".

Del Toro has literally pulled more than Pogacar since they went clear. Just straight up domestique duty.

It's 85km... You're cycling in a group with 5 Italians, 4 Australians, some belgians etc... Even if you were cooked, which yes they were, you can still catch the front. In fact they are getting a bit closer as we speak, so maybe, just maybe, they have a different strategy today.

They should pull a medium tempo over the climbs and try to keep them in check for the next 40km. Thats the only chance against Pog.
