Soderqvist going for a Remco.

I know it’s a shorter TT but he’s 25+ seconds faster to T1 than everyone other than Remco yesterday.

0 difference between a fake devo rider like Soderqvist who is allowed to ride and demolish the rest and pros who aren't participating in top level WT races but can't ride.

That being said, Soderqvist deserves a World title.

He would have if other U23 pro’s were allowed to race and he beat them.

Now the rules are just absolutely ridiculous and implemented 10 years after they would have been useful.

A few surprises in the top10, but Soderqvist proving he's a level above all the others.
Red Bull Rookies finish 2nd, 4th and 5th.

Monster performance from Soderqvist. I was wondering whether Seixas would've beaten him had he racer, but I don't think so.

Breakthrough race from Pringle? Finn was also really good, confirming that he's a really solid all round GC talent

Well yeah like I said, he deserves one, that's not the point. There just isn't any difference between him and some other devo riders and neopros. They train the same, have the same equipment, almost ride the same schedule, and even all earn like pros anyways. Actually it's worse, there's plenty of "pros" from Pro Teams who don't have all the advantages someone like Soderqvist have. 10 years ago this would've made sense yeah, not anymore.

As someone who's been following u23 races for almost 15 years it's hard to take this serious anymore.

Jakob would probably been podium in Men Elite race.
25 second faster than Vine and Pogi to first checkpoint.
Samt time as Vine between 2 & 3 just 8 second slower than Remco. Know wind can differ but superb preformance from Jakob. Two Swedish gold the same day, wow.

Yeah fully agree, it would have made sense when all but the biggest talents were still competiting to become Pro at this stage of their careers like it used to be.

But with juniors now being part of the professional setup and fully guided by experts it just doesnt make sense anymore.
