Worlds support race

Anyone have updates on the worlds support race to be held in Ballarat on Sunday to give the riders a heart starter after traveling.

Its near the Australia national course but any one seen a start list or any information up dates since June this year.

with such a high profile event we would expect a big addvertising programe.

It's called the "Herald Sun World Cycling Classic Ballarat", if anyone is interested.

A recent articlein the Herald Sun suggests Gilbert & Hushovd will both be there.

I suppose organisers are still working it out, given that some teams have only been announced in the past week or so.

Weird, I could have sworn that it was Spain that first made the suggestion of creating a race in the week prior to the worlds. Now they dont seem to be attending?

I take it it will be run with national teams given that it's a warm up for the world championship?
