Gilbert seemed to be the only guy on BMC who knew that they had to be 4 guys...TJVG seemed quite ignorant about that matter.

Ballan was fully aware of everything too. He was doing the perfect pace until TJVG sprinted at the end of the Cauberg and dropped Phinney. Horrible choice. He lost the TTT there.

Orica third. Still very good job by Liquigas. Nibbles looked amazing.

I think they went full gas on the Cauberg since they knew they were 8 secs behind. They did well actually , they finished with only 3 secs behind.

It wasn't just Phinney who was dropped, they were six going into Cauberg. And then half the team was dropped. Bit of a **** up.

Very enjoyable event all in all, and a great TTT course.

Quinziato dropped at the bottom. Pinotti 300 mt after. And everybody probably knew from the start that they were going to be dropped on the Cauberg.

The other 4 were going pretty well until Van Garderen decided to spice things up. Ballan and Gilbert figured they had to wait Phinney, while TJVG kept going for no apparent reason even after the Cauberg was over.

Watch the replay. He ****ed it up. Blame the age, maybe his radio was off or something. But it was his fault.
