Wow. From Olympic Champ in 4km to 4km Tour contender in 4 years!!

First off, Congrats to Bradley Wiggins for all his achievements thus far.
I am just amazed that he has gone from the 4Km king to the top Tour [well almost] 4,000km contender in under 4 years.
The man is phenomenal and exceptional.
Has anyone else ever gone from pursuiter to top Grand Tour contender before?
Congrats too to the Garmin & Sky folks for "switching" him to riding for Grand Tours.

By that metric Cav's going to win the Tour (as long as Contador is out of action and Armstrong stays retired anyway)
