1) Haussler wins a monument.
2) Thor Hushovd finally wins at Roubaix
3) Andy and AC battles it out at the Tour, until Jens Voigt suddenly attacks solo on stage 20 and gets 50 minutes on the rest of the field due to pure willpower and pain-tolerance, resulting in everyone else falling outside of the time limit.
4)EBH wins worlds. Perhaps then, he would not be passed by: 6 random skiers, 1 golf player, 3 football players, 2 swimmers, 1 chess player and a Javelin thrower in the "Norwegian athlete of the year" award.
5) Sastre wins giro, Evans 2. yet again.

But maybe not so random here? As for the skiers and footballers...

1) Valverde is in the lead of the TDU but he punctures and the mechanical support won't give him a wheel. The tables would of turned!:D he then loses the tdu

5) Armstrong bonks on the stage on top f the tourmalet while in the lead and jaan kirsipuu (who has come back to the tour;)) even beats to the finish.
I don't remember Evans being in the lead when this happened?
And we have an appropriate replacement for Kirsipuu: he's called Kenny van Hummel :) Although he's not as talented a sprinter, I'm afraid.

From a British cycle fan's perspective:

1. Wiggins to make the podium at TdF at the expense of cancer awareness.
2. Sky to outperform Lotto in the spring classics with EBF taking a monument.
3. Cavendish leads a 9 man British team to World title in Melbourne.
4. Rapha-Condor-Sharp win the Tour Series crits in Uk.
5. Cavendish to Sky transfer saga dominates headlines from mid March for the rest of the year

A cross between EBH and JAF?

1 Boonen to get busted using coke again.
2 Cancellara to win World ITT and then misses wining the road race by half a wheel. He then sits in the gutter and cries like a baby.
3 Cavendish to do **** all.
4 Wiggins misses the TDF with a bad case of hemroids.
5 Lance gets busted by a French Police Raid and then claims he was cheating because he is the only person that can save people from cancer.

1) Cadel wins a GT
2) Valverde gets a 2 year suspension, backdated so that he loses the Vuelta. That would send a great message.
3) I finish a half ironman
4) Lance gets busted
5) The Spanish take doping seriously. Let me rephrase that, because they already take it seriously. The Spanish take anti doping seriously.

Would love to see Cancellara crying. Maybe he can lose the ITT due to a puncture, too.

1) Lance performs so dismally at the ToC and other early season races he fails to make Radio Shack's TdF squad.

2) Six former Astana Radio Shack riders are arrested as soon as they set foot on French soil. Along with various members of team management, following a fair trial they are sentenced to jail time.

3) Realising an extradition request is forthcoming Lance flees to Venezuela. The IOC informs Caracas that if they continue to harbour him, Venezuela will not be able to compete at future games. He is deported.

4) Brussels in a rare moment of lucidity stops caring about the straightness of cucumbers and issues an EU directive that sports doping is made a criminal offence in all member states. The USA and a large number of other countries follow the EU's lead and criminal sanctions become applicable worldwide for dopers.

5) As police intervention starts occurring it quickly becomes apparent to the public the cycling isn't the only dirty sport or even the dirtiest.

OK 2 & 3 both hinge on speculation as to exactly how damning the evidence the Gendarmerie are working with is but 1 would be very funny and 4 and 5 are highly desirable.

So on a more sporting level I'll start again from number 2...

2) EBH to win MSR and Roubaix.

3) Cav to win two GT points jerseys.

4) Evans to not ride the Tour but to podium at the Giro and win the Vuelta.

5) Contador and A. Schleck to get on the podium at Le Tour but to be knocked off the top spot by someone like Gesink, Nibali or Kreuziger.

Perhaps, but I rather suspect that Armstrong will need something with a bit more range than a handgun to reach AC on the Finish line. Perhaps an ICBM.

Just hoping:

1. Alexander Kristoff wins milano-san remo. (provided BMC is participating?)
2. Flecha wins Paris-Roubaix
3. Rujano actually wins The Giro d'Italia.
4. Zubeldia sneaks away and wins the tour the france, without anyone noticing.
5. Boasson Hagen world champion.

4. Fédrigo wins a semi classic, Voeckler wins a breakaway in Paris Nice. Rolland sneaks top 10 and second for the white jersey in TDF while Bonnet is third twice in sprints. Nevertheless, it is late September before there is an annoucement on sponsorship for Bouygues Telecom for 2011

If you think it's news that Phil will toss Armstrong's salad, you are sadly mistaken.

1. All the other teams gang up on Astana and The Shack to get Andy Schleck to the top spot and neither AC or LA make the podium.

Oh, and to keep in tune with bluebeard above... LA tweets about it.

That is all.

That's about as likely as Jens Voigt winning the TDF :p

He even got dropped on the "hills" in tour of britain, there's no way he can survive MSR.

I know. I'm hoping for voigt to win the tour de france as well. Or zubeldia..
