I must have missed it but I didnt realise Voeckler crashed at the bottom of La Redoute. To get back into the front group and finish 4th is pretty impressive. Admittedly there was a bit of finessing in that front group toward the end but even so a gutsy ride.

I think there may be a few people Europcar'd come July.

Turgot 50/1 for Roubaix.

Thats some free money right there.

Turgot for 50k solo win this year
Rolland to solo LBL
Voeckler will probably win TDF or something like that
Probably that Gaudin guy will do something later in the season

I can dream, right? :D

It was a hole-in-one for Gaudin yesterday (referring to his golf ball-like TThelmet :D). Ok, I'm out. :p

OT - Yeah, so bad that unemployment, inflation, interest rates are at their lowest in years and the dollar and commodity prices have been steadily above anything your Liberal heroes have had.

Terrible, terrible leaders :p

I just rode the artice about Europcar on cyclingnews.

I would be suprised if Europcar wouldn't be able to find a new (co-) sponsor for the upcoming season. They're by far the most entertaining team of the past two season. I really enjoy how attractice they are racing since Bernadeau is doing it the Gianni Savio way instead of riding neraly anonymous in the World Tour like in their Bouygues Telecom years (Altough they already showed their promise in 09 and 10).

Europacar get's wildcard invites in any race they (really) want to get one. They're not riding ****ty World Tour races in China or the ToC for the money. But they honour nearly any race they start in to at least try to entertain in some way.

If Rabobank finds a news sponsor, but Europcar won't be able to do so it would be just so unfair.

Wish Bernadeau truly much luck and success with this.

Same.

Today was supposed to be an anniversary bump, not hard enough for Tommy though :(

Malacarne looked good but he works too hard.

it would be so stupid by europcar to not renew. i hope bernaudeau will find a solution
Of course. From a marketing point of view Europcar has always been there. But since the green Army is out there I always think "Oh, Europcar!"

It was an amazing contrast to see David drop two WT riders, who supposedly should be better than him.

Congrats to him/ any other Europcar victors over the next few weeks.

Should we just sticky this for the next two months?

I don't think we'll have much choice in whether or not to sticky.

BTW, while this is up here, I found this interesting.

And we're only just getting into their main part of the year that they really target a lot. Think how many they'll have after July. :D

Based on how they are doing this season and the performance of the previous years i'd expect to see atleast 2 Europcar riders at the podium in Paris.
