Vingegaard or Pogacar would still have won with 30 seconds advantage...Thing with this sort of climb is it's not hard enough for GC, so they cancel each other out.

UK commentators seem to go with' nace', to rhyme with race. Carlton Kirby is salivating. For people wondering how to pronounce Nys... closest you'll get is by using the American pronunciation of ass: N-ass.
Well, that's wrong.UK commentators seem to go with' nace', to rhyme with race.
Was thinking the same. Maybe on Reinderink’s bike.I have a hard time believing that was Reinderink and not Van Wilder, lol.
Arensman just here to roll through and get some miles before the Giro then. No GC ambitions for this race.Arensman and Sivakov both over a minute behind.
Actually sounds better n-ace then n-assWell, that's wrong.
Getting the hard miles? Next Ineos GT winner confirmedArensman just here here to roll through and get some miles before the Giro then. No GC ambitions for this race.
Ayuso confirming his co-leader status at the Tour by dropping only two seconds to Florian Lipowitz.
Now updated. Indeed. Was thinking the same. Maybe on Reinderink’s bike.
I was joking, he finished best of the real GC riders. This wasn‘t a short explosive climb but the GC riders turned it into that.Remember Ayuso don't normal like shorter explosive climbs. Tomorrow and Saturday are the stages for him. Today was a day of defending his postions not by attacking and risk GC.
I thought it was probably his team not giving him the opportunities of his contemporaries (Lecerf, Del Torro, Morgado etc). But maybe his mediocre season is just down to him not developing as quickly as anticpated?JSM disappointing too.
Considering his U23 results, I'd say he's more than developed enough already. Most people with his pedigree has had no problems delivering something as a first year pro. He's looked good on a couple of days this season, but overall it's been pretty bad. Not sure what's up with him. Could be that his problems at the end of last season are still affecting him, or affected his build-up to the season.I thought it was probably his team not giving him the opportunities of his contemporaries (Lecerf, Del Torro, Morgado etc). I was more surprised that Sheffield didn't try to hang on, given his time trial abilities. But maybe he preferred to take it easy today.Hindley lost 8 seconds. Arensman lost 47 seconds as well as Uran. Sivakov down 25 seconds further.
He was decent in Eibar, but that's pretty much it, no?Considering his U23 results, I'd say he's more than developed enough already. Very good in Flèche Wallonne too, and a few decent showings in Coppi&Bartali where he attacked in the final of a couple of stages. He was decent in Eibar, but that's pretty much it, no?
