    I think he has spent all his luck for this year already, if he did Flenche he would be taken out in the run in chaos to the Huy and break something, Tour gone. The way this season has robbed us so far my morale is low like that.

    In 21 and 22 maybe a few, because Pog was considered unbeatable and if you cheered for Rog you would naturally also prefer Vingegaard because it helps Rog, team aspect and all that.     lol, Remco is not even on the same interdimensional plane as Roglic, lost every single race against him in 2023 He is a solid 3rd after Vinge and Pogacar but tour can be unpredictable, a lot can happen.

    Seems pretty clear.. he wanted to race for the win but had to fall back in line due to team pressure. The only other thing he could do is yolo and attack against the team instructions but that would make him look really bad.. I also agree that there could be some Rog and Pog alliance dynamics...
