I had this vision that a cycling-loving farmer, disappointed that his favourite climb was removed from the stage, drove his tractor on to the road to block the race at the bottom of the final climb.

In a stroke of luck, Vingegaard dodges the tractor while Pogacar is held back. Vingegaard, to the astonishment of many, goes full throttle and ignores his sports director yelling at him on the radio to stop and wait for the other favorites.

At the finish Vingegaard is just over four minutes ahead of Pogacar and by virtue of bonus seconds he takes over first place. The sheikh of Abu Dhabi is furious and demand the result of the stage be annulled.

Sure, I just find it odd that you would go into the Tour having not scouted one of the hardest finishes of the race.

Of course it is correct what UnoX is doing. Except maybe is it better to spend your teammate to distance the opponent or have the teammate at your side in case of need.
I like it that Rog is trying to go for it. The alternative is riding like a Mario character and pronouncing that the Tour in not over whilst doing nothing..
