Am going to be on Ventoux on Sunday (well I have a car, sleeping bags, my wife, and a few maps... so hoping to be anyway) so hopefully someone can light up the race to try to avoid a procession :)

But why are there no other close contenders? Don't remember this before really, even in the Armstrong years. Contador, who many on here view as unbeatable, was never as dominant as Froome this tour (so far i'll hasten to add).

Ok... should have said "keeping it out of the clinic" Maybe it's because 2 of the top riders are on the same team, and others are picking and choosing their GCs (e.g. Nibali may be closest to Froome if he was here) Bit of a shame really.

Looks like a huge lead for Froome. What is it with recent GCs and being completely dominated from the beginning early on (Wiggins, Nibali, Froome).

The other sprinters' teams were more than capable of keeping up... shame that Cav and co themselves couldnt hey ;) Was nice to see the Peleton actually do something different for a change after last years' tour de every stage exactly the same
