    Giro d'Italia Giro d'Italia 2022 route rumors

They have updated most of the stages but considering it's only march could be only an intermediate update. Anyway in stage 8 they cut the flat after the last hill, in stage 9 they added Macerone just after the start and then Rionero Sannitico, at least a stage with climbs at the beginning, and...

Teams & Riders Tadej Pogačar discussion thread

Everyone has some weakness, even Eddy had, Pogacar for example (at least until last year) didn't look dominant on big long climbs and was even dropped on Loze and Ventoux and apparently doesn't like heat. Maybe isn't enough for Roglic to beat him in the Tour but still isn't invincible.

Also a long sprint for himself, launched from something like 250 meters out and possibly also in a long avenue. Yesterday was the opposite.

Teams & Riders He's coming home!!!! Alejandro Valverde comeback thread.

Can we start a petition to ask him to not retire? Retiring when you still have something left in the tank IMHO is always a waste and there is always the risk of regretting it or even wanting to come back, we've seen that also recently with Contador and Boonen.

Should be less in the final compared to mid race, in Montalcino now is around 50 km/h whereas in Siena below 30 km/h.

Teams & Riders Vincenzo Nibali discussion thread

Yesterday he wrote on Facebook that he trained for the first time since he got COVID, basically it's like he had a winter break so it's a logical choice to not throw himself into racing without putting at least some base work.

    Tirreno - Adriatico 2022 (7.03-13.03)

Depends on how they ride the whole stage, in 2017 no one tried anything outside some skirmish on the short wall and let Bora set the pace to preserve Sagan until the foot of the wall and not happy with that on the top of the wall they started to watch themselves allowing Sagan to catch back in...

    2022 Strade Bianche, 05/03

Who wants the dust will have the dust, yesterday evening and this night nothing fell from the sky and early this morning only 1/2 mm of rain around Siena and nothing south where the majority of the route is, and that was the last window to have some rain in the area.

    Tirreno - Adriatico 2022 (7.03-13.03)

With the situation seen now by the ECMWF model there will be snow already on the coast between Friday and Sunday, but it's too early to assess because there is still a week and antizonal patterns are even harder to predict. The only sure thing is that will be pretty cold for late in the season...
