If I was preparing here for the classics, I would DNS today to prevent catching whatever bug is going around the peloton, could be a struggle for all those who have fallen ill to be at 100% in two weeks unfortunately...
Sadly I fear you are being wise here. It does appear to be super contagious and with the Covid experience still fresh in everyone's mind there has to be a concern around this level of dropouts in a major race.

Simon Yates must be the most random cyclist in the peloton.
In his day he can be very good TTer and the best climber.. When he is off, he can be terrible. Thing is you never know who is gonna show.

About Jumbo, completely expected performance 1-2 was pretty much locked for WVA and Roglic an Denis seemed to save himself (??) for the TT.
At least with his climbing you can usually say that he's much worse on multi-mountain stages in the high mountains when it's a war of attrition.

I hate that quote. Every box of chocolates I've ever had tells you what they are. It's stupid.
I assume you've never had a box of ''pralines'' from Leonidas or such. Because you actually don't know what's inside each chocolate. Also, the quote in the movie is from an era decades ago, so chances are that back then it was actually like that.
