    The same Boonen that lost to Vanmarke in a sprint in the same race a couple of years back, plus with what Stannard did to GVA last year clearly Etixx were nervous about the end sprint. Stannard owned them anyway and thats the main thing

    Becker was a man child, I dont reckon the 17 year old Becker was on anything apart from the usual meat diet of schnitzel , sausages or whatever they eat out there. Plus he could play unlike so many others. Courier always worried me

    Dont get me started on British sports journo's - wankers Though I'm thinking Paula is trying to emulate Jo Pavey after she became a World champ at 40 or so but its getting intolerable for anybody that follows athletics

    He got lucky by getting hired for sure, sure he's said a few stupid things that will always haunt him but in the main has done a reasonable job. If he was sacked tomorrow other teams would come in for him I reckon.

    Shane Sutton has always been part of the furniture in Britain, almost an honorary Brit. He's Aus but its not like we stole him. Dont they teach history in Australia? I thought everybody was familiar with Napolean and the lucky generals..

    I'm hoping Hepburn will start to sprint again like he used to a couple of years back but yes I may have overdone it here. I may have to wait a while for more points from them apart from Porte possibly. :p

    I was always going with Visconti, was thinking about Scarponi but he's getting on now and Astana have so many good riders. Stannard its hard to say - Spring might come too early for him where he gets all his points.
