Descents are more dangerous for splits than the climbs themselves today I think.

Edit: attacks now. Paret Peintre goes first.

Gap will almost certainly fall by enough for Laurance to keep the lead but the break should take the stage here.

Will be close, but if Carr can get solo on next climb I give him a chance.

Boring "queen stage" as expected tho. Will be all decided in the TT and if Pedersen manages to get enough bonis today or tomorrow I don't see anyone beating him honestly. Vauquelin probably the only one who has a chance.

EDIT: break lost a lot of time last 10km

Brenner going for his first pro win. 12s advantage with 4.5k to go.

Possible bunch sprint incoming tho.

He was talking to Mads after the finish line and (I think) making some jokes. I didn't hear everything but it seems like he was saying to Mads he won because of some special clothing. And then a bit after that he said the word "doping".

Think it were some inside jokes
He made a remark when Pedersen signed off the formula that notified him that he would be tested. It was unrelated to the previous remark about how the points jersey meant that he couldn't race in a speed-suit.

Wrecked by a conti guy lmao, awesome

This edition of Besseges has been extremely disappointing tho, as expected without win everything about the TT.

It was a very "stating the obvious" kind of analysis.
Even I could have reached that conclusion... and I'm not an expert.

I think most sentences spoken by commentators wouldn't stand that test to be honest... I don't really see what was so extreme about what he said there. He speaks so much other nonsense though.

It looked like De Bondt sort of stopped going all out on his attack and then got out of position for the sprint.
