Nibali was held up by the crash and started the climb at the back so if he had plans to attack they were undone.
Lots of riders had teammates crash and riders would have been trying to work out what had happened.
Attacks will happen but the crash lowered the likely of it happening on Redoute considerably.

Betancur only just dropped alongside Wellens. He is improving, at this rate he might be in for the Vuelta.
