I don't know. More than 30 kilometers from the top of the Madonna to the final climb. About half of that completely flat. He'll have to go very deep.

i think nibali is riding this climb at his own pace so gilbert tires himself not losing much time on the climb then he can wait on the flat and still be "fresh"
