Sorry, it is Niemec for Lampre not Ulissi... My bad. Should've listened to you guys.

Impressive by the Pole.

Oh the Irony if Leopards biggest win of the year came from Oliver Zaugg..

Who would win the sprint from this group? Ullisi "won" won a sprint in Giro. I think Purito, though that might be my heart not my head.

It's not just about sprinting but also about being in the richt position, as there is a corner 150m before the finish line.

Did you watch the race? Pretty good with +70 km to go. Just because it all came back together before the last climb it doesn't mean it was a bad race.

It was good before then. I was concerned that it was going to be an anticlimax, and I'd be disappointed by the way it ended, but it's getting good again.

El Pistolero's head will explode, because the amazing Gilbert has been caught on a descent by Giovanni Visconti.

Hahaha. I for one wouldnt mind if Zaugg won. :)

ya pretty much this
It's a matter of perspective. If he wins, this means Zaugg had a better season than Andy, which makes things OK in my mind.

Gilbert has been the only monument winner to come from the checklist of favourites this year. Looks like it may stay that way.
