Going down a bit too quickly now. Would be best for Jumbo/Quickstep/Bora and definitely Trek to have at least 40 seconds before the kwaremont.

In that case Jumbo/Quickstep have the numbers. So they should really work.

I can't see G2 staying together after Kwaremont, Paterberg and Koppenberg. This is far from over for G3.
They won't stay together but they also won't split into 20 single riders. The issue with such a big group isn't that they will flawless stay and work together until the end but that it is has enough depth to create a winning 5-men group after Koppenberg/Paterberg. And MVP or Pogacar won't be able to chase down a 5 men group that works together and has a head start.

Place your bets on the best finisher of those up ahead, before the Kwaremont begins.

My bet: Van Hooydonck
Dark horse: Haller
Pedersen?

Although I would love Haller.

Anyway, I dont think thats over and even if the winner comes from G1, they will split. So its not necessarily the fastest sprinter.

But the distribution of work is hardly a trivial matter.
Undoubtedly some people won't be pulling but I would worry about the freaks in the peloton first and then see what the situation is like after the Paterberg. This is the worst section to stop cooperating.

Why is Kanter still pulling?
Surely it would be better for him to relax until García Cortina joins him, though it seems it might not even happen now.
