Think MVDP is the favorite.

Tough to say who I am rooting for, I like both guys from a personality perspective. I'd prefer to see MVDP win just so that Pogacar doesn't win everything before turning 25, however I also enjoy to watch the world the clinic burn so a Pogacar victory would be kinda funny.

Maybe MVdP is just a better actor, but as crazy as he is, he seems more human than Pogacar to me, and I'm rooting quite hard for him today.

Because he is better sprinter and Pogacar needs to drop him on Paterberg.

MVDP should win the sprint because Pogacar is also a rider who mainly relies on his explosive sprint, not a guy like Asgreen, Pedersen or Kristoff with a really long monster sprint.
That said, it's Pogacar...

Pog put MVDP under pressure on the 20%. Makes sense.

Peak Boonen was really good in short, steep hills too.

The really short ones maybe. Maybe on the longer ones if they wait till the one steep pinch. But Pogacar just goes off on the foot. Pog could just take Boonen to the cleaners on a hill like the Kanarieberg and there'd be nothing Boonen could do.
