Man I hate these commentators.

Pogacar beats other climbers in a sprint in LBL and almost beats WvA who did all the work in the Olympics, and VDP gets beat by Asgreen.

And suddenly a sprint between Pogacar and VDP is a 50/50.

Van der Poel should always be considered the heavy favorite for the upcoming sprint.

MVDP looks pretty good to me. For once he hasn't had the burden of agitating the end of the race so he's done marginally less work than usual imo.

Pogacar looks more tired than I think I've ever seen him.

Both are really explosive, but VDP should have more raw power for a flat sprint provided he hasn't emptied himself too much. Also he is imo more susceptible to mistiming his sprint. All in all, Pog is a slight favourite to me in a two-up sprint.

Watching the same groups with a constant gap between them for an hour or more is so boring, especially when the strongest riders are in front.
