That is just selfish, people are encouraging him destroying JVS big chance lol ?? That would be ridiculous.

it is simple; spartacus attacks; thor follows. If thor wants a chance to win, he can try to bridge, but thor will be right there, and a big chance to win. If canc. doesn't (like we just saw) thor knows a non-working canc. increases his teams chances of winning majorily.

Excellent team performance.
And yeah he lost the group sprint... I doubt he cares he lost 7th place much.

Thank you, I can't believe some of the posts I am reading on here. This sums it up perfectly.

Great race, Thor played it wonderful, Canc was crazy powerful those last few K's. When Canc and Thor were outrunning the motorcycles on the cobbles that was cool. Congrats to Van Summeren.

Thanks to Teamskyfans for the stream, always forget to thank you for those every week. Had the race on a 60" LCD, with about 20 of us watching it, drinking Belgium and French beer from 8am on.

Expect to find me lurking on your front porch for Liege. :D

And yes, never enough thanks to Dim!

Hey JV, you just look like a tool who can't hack critism. Somebody at his level should be professional and use the gool' ol technique of ignoring.

PS: changed the channel to sbs; they seriously know nothing.

If he'd just kept riding Thor would have cracked. I can understand why he stopped though. I has to be very demoralizing to have people wanting to take prize off of your work. He just wanted to prove he's the strongest rider.
Don't think Thor would have cracked during that bridge. He was quite comfortable.

One days yes, but the stage races have been a huge disappointment for the most part.

Lal probably Vaughters himself did nothing, was Van Petegem who did the work together with Van Summeren. If it were Petegem or Summeren tweeting it, it would be acceptable, but Vaughters??

Nah, take it easy on him. It's obviously a very important win for the team so he's rightfully slightly gloating. Not really tool material.

1. Van Summeren, a merited and respected victory, congratulations! a real winner!

2. A TV moto that decided the race in the carrefour de l'Arbre by stopping out Cancellara.

3. Ballan and Hushovd backwheelsuckers... luckily they didn't win. They are not worthy of it. What a disgraceful shame.

4. BMC the big classic losers team. Strong team and no wins. Weak DS. Sack them.

5. Why does Cancellara have a team? Isolated again very early. You can't win it all on your own.

6. Not as thrilling and spectacular like San Remo and Flanders, but for once a different race.

7. Why do we have to wait a year again for the next edition??!
I could have two Flanders and Roubaix per year :D

yeah I was mainly in ref; to one day races.

But to be fair I only found PN disappointing. Basque was entertaining for the most part. TA was great.

A wonderful win by Johan; that's why I love PE. You can never predict how the race will unfold. Can you imagine how those last 15k must have felt to him? Imagine your wildest dream, the one for which you would be willing to suffer all the pains of hell.

I loved it; the minute Tommeke was stuck there in Arenberg you just knew it wasn't going according to plan. Telling the truth here, no 20/20 hindsight. With 57k to go I started thinking "A favorite isn't going to win this one".

We didn't see the hoped for epic battle, but what we saw was what this was going to be today. And it was great.

Long live Paris-Roubaix!!!

Well, he didn't even bother to name the rider who's just won for his team.

to win Roubaix needs luck and Garmin made a lot of their own luck by putting riders up the road, but they still had luck that JVS had the strength at the end and the others didn't.

I feel Canc threw the race away. He would have ridden everyone of his wheel if kept going hard over the cobbles and gave it everything on the last section. At the end Thor couldn't go with him to fight for 2nd.

Saw that too - did it really stop him, though? Looked more like Thor got somewhat tangled up there, not Fabian.

JV must be thankful that Vansummeren made it-otherwise his group of "classic specialists" would've been the joke of the season:p
