Strade Bianche isn't a classic.

Yes it is.

And even so, a monument alone makes a season. Even if you value LBL higher than MSR, a win in the bag is still better than a merely possible one.

Lol, no it's not. It's barely 10 years old. Just because a Sky rider won doesn't make it a classic.
Classics have to start somewhere

Well of course. It's only now become a WT race, so it will still take awhile before it can earn the classic title. And its only 175km long, a classic is 240km+.

Bodnar should have stayed up front. He would have been more use to Sagan there.

I feel kind of sorry for Stuyven... If, by any chance, something comes out from this attack - he'll hardly profit.

Sagan is wasting way too much energy. Until now this looks absolutely perfect for degenkolb

Best first half of the season I've seen.

Like... no year I can remember comes close.

Strade Bianche is a fan favorite event and a pretty damn prestigious one. What makes a "classic" anyway? Strade Bianche is probably more prestigious right now than some classics anyway.
You ask 10 people you'll probably get 10 different lists

Wait, what?

Omloop: 198.3 km
Strade Bianche: 175 km
Dwars Door Vlaanderen: 203.4 km
E3 Harelbeke: 206.1 km
Flèche Wallonne: 200.5 km

And the list goes on.
