How the hell is Naesen still there?! Interesting to contrast his and GVA's endurance with that of Sagan. All had serious problems in this race, but those two just have the better engines.

From this front group, if it more or less stays together, it looks very difficult to call between GVA, Stybar and Roelandts in a sprint.

Not Stybar, surely he's not up to the other two you mention.

Not in normal conditions I agree, but didn't he win the sprint for 2nd here a few years ago?

It was the year Deg won. It was a sprint for 1st, he just finished 2nd.

Ah right - thanks. But he did still beat GVA and a few other strong sprinters didn't he? Perhaps he just got on the right wheel or got the better line in the velodrome though.

Why should Stybar work? He has the biggest pre race favorite in the group behind and the probably 2nd favorite in his own group. Why should he work? He is in the perfect position right now!
