Wow GVA has really come into himself! Chapeau.

Thanks for the links help, I ended up watching it in French. At least it was a great stream!

I wanted Stybar to win, but I'm happy for GVA. I worthy winner and this is huge for his already very good palmare.

Great ride from the tractor. Pathetic again from Stannard.

Skyfail apart from Moscon. I wouldn't be surprised if he had to work for Rowe and Standard earlier knowing Sky

Undeserved winner. now sue me :)

eh ? He came back from a mechanical, worked in the winning move and won it.

He was ultra-passive until the final move (which I missed, but gathered he didn't even start it?) and got massive help from his team car after the mechanical.

That said, he was the most deserving winner of those three but not overall. Good race, but I can't be happy.

Also, thrilling to see them getting caught 3 turns from the line.

His ability to do the vast majority of work in the last 50km of a hard race and then absolutely crush everyone in a sprint is absolutely incredible. Endurance-wise he's head and shoulders above the rest of the peloton right now.

This!

It's so cool to see how he's developed into this from frequently being too impatient a few years ago.

GVA is now at par with Sagan's palmares
1 ORR
1 Monument
6 Classics
3 GT Stages
1 Vuelta points classifications
1 WT Stage race
vs
2 WCRR
1 Monument
7 Classics
11 GT Stages
5 Tour points classifications
1 WT Stage race

I don't think it's even that close, and it's not GVA who has the better palmares.

Belgium is definitely going to win the country ranking this year lol.

Omloop, Dwars door Vlaanderen, E3 Harelbeke, G-W, RvV and Paris-Roubaix. Not to mention second in Strade Bianche.

Sagan was strongest rider in the race and reckon he'd have won from 75k out if it wasn't for that puncture as he had Bodnar with him

Well done GVA, well done. So glad Stybar got beaten, he clearly overdid his tactical wheelsucking act. GVA is seemingly unbeatable in those sprints after a hard race right now. A fitting crown jewel on top of a wildly successful classics campaign for him, he's clearly the best cobbled classics rider this year.
