Who has anything left in the tank?
 
The finish was moved away from the usual Avenue de Grammont, so there are now 2k less from the bumpy part to the line.

There's been no rain in a week, and a tailwind is forecast for the final ~60k. Should be very fast and hectic.

Ah real ciclismo for one.

Sadly good weather this time but Visma and Trek will try to make it a hard race just as last year. A good De Lie probably also wants to entertain, but not sure if he's recovered perfectly from his sickness.
 
less predictable wrt the outcome than what we had the last couple of weeks.
I sort of feel the same about it, and yet, with one rider being SO dominant throughout the season, I can't help thinking of races like this one as a 2nd division event. Sad, since it used to be one of the better one day races of the year (not least because it has been shown on TV here for decades).
