Yeah I feel the same way about Marcato...he's always up there attacking or sprinting for the win but at best he ends up 2nd behind a teammate. Leukemans or Ricco should give it to him next time because he deserves it more than anyone else.

Heard by a common friend that he doesn't like the presence of Riccò in the team and would have liked to change next year but he still has a 1 year contract.

Yes they did. But they got themselves a time bomb. I don't care though, even without Ricco they have a really nice team for the Giro. Don't know what Zomegnan thinks about it though.

They didn't get into Lombardy, despite the fact that Vacansoleil's classics team is even more impressive than the 9 men they'd line up for a GT. There's just something about that team that turns everyone off.... I wonder what it is?

As I mentioned above, he said something that if he could have changed team (since the arrive of Riccò), he would have opted for it (as he got some offerts) but choosed to stick at the last year with Vacansoleil.
