New Astana Jersey.

Meh........

It's better then what they have been wearing for the last two years. Plus it's miles ahead of RS and Columbia.

Vacansoleil, Adago and Katusha all look decent.

That RS jersey has to be one of the ugliest in recent years. Just a simple White, with black and red panels or trim with the big R on it would have been better than that. The yellow and gray completely clashes, and the block colors look like they were from a graphic designer who never looked at a jersey before.

Agree that Columbia needs to go back to a variation of their 2007 kit.

All jerseys can produce full impressions only in races, when you have pictures of riders from helicopter, from moto-camera from the front and from all sides etc. After that only I could say is that jersey is really good or really ugly:) So I'm very cautious to asses new Astana kit right now

But even right now I can say that this grey-red colours of the Shack plus dirty-grey bike are a rather poor show. The same was with Fuji-2009 kit, it's impossible to read any in this bice-blue colours.

My eyes are still bleeding.

Grey, yellow and red. What were they thinking? Who puts grey on a bike jersey? And then expects it to go with primary colours? Hideous.

The Astana jersey is even worse. The red accents completely throw off whatever meagre harmony yellow and aquamarine have together.

There have been far too few great jerseys of late. I think
this year's Cervelo was excellent; the last Saeco kit; skil shimano; the blue agrubitel; and caisse d'epargne.

finaly had a good look at the shack kit........its MISERY , seriously it looks like a local masters kit , all the new CAPO . CASTELLI , kit we can all get looks so much nicer ( i would never wear pro team kit anyway )

the astana kit is ,sorry , misery also , man im a berto fan , can we please get the boy a descent kit to wear......:D

cervelo is still the best , i like the white/black set up , hope they do the all white again this year

somebody said the ag2r was horrible but i have to disagree here , i really quite liked the brown/white/blue kit.........it was a bit of a throw back kit yet it still had a modern sense of style.........wwwwaaaayyy better than the new shack kit, i have yet to see the 2010 kit

kinda feel the same about colombia , they grew on me and i dont hate them still waiting on 2010 for them also but again wwwaaaayyy better than the shack....................:p

I don't understand why Lance felt the need to wrap duct tape around both his thighs? Is it supposed to be performance enhancing, like compression tights?

The new Astana kit proves everyone in Kazakhstan is either color blind, or just blind. To paraphrase a teenage girl, "OMG!!! Like it is soooo bad!!!"

And another thing, aren't France and Italy supposed to be hubs of international fashion and things that look good on people? So why, WHY, is it no one can produce a great looking kit? Best 2010 outfit so far belongs to a French-Canadian/Danish duo(?).

Perhaps the new Raleigh team (not Peugeot!) will represent.

It does look like they are trying to out ugly each other.
Maybe all kit designers have decided that ugly grabs the attention?

If this be the case, Mr. Januss, then I would suggest the current batch of DS's start rummaging around in the back of their closets if they want to create a kit anything near as awesome as these:

Awesome 1
Awesome 2
Awesome 3 (I know...I couldn't stop staring either!)
Awesome 4 (quite possibly the single most awesomest jersey I have ever witnessed!)

As I clicked each link I sensed that I was getting closer and closer to the abominations that were Mapei and Le Groupement.

Awesome... no.

Yeah, I would have to give Le G-men the forever #1 Ugliest Ever award -- ever. Wow.

One stripe and solids, that's all you ever need.
